BBBBBBB is a “Victory Hardcore” group from Nagoya, Japan, consisting of producer/vocalist Saionji, vocalist Sawa, and occasional dancer MRO, who performs live only once a year, adding a rare and unique element to their shows.
Formed in 2016 in Okazaki, the band started as a 20-member collective before evolving into this focused trio. Their music, dubbed Victory Hardcore, fuses digital hardcore, noise, industrial, and trap, combining intense, chaotic sounds with a positive message of hope and dreams.
While primarily performing in Japan, BBBBBB has been expanding internationally, reaching audiences in Korea, China, and the United States.
Their 2023 album, Positive Violence, released on Deathbomb Arc, exemplifies their electrifying style, featuring “electrocuted” sounds and “panic attack level” vocals that push the limits of hyper-hardcore music.
Producer Saionji has also contributed three tracks to Lord Spikeheart’s album The Adept, further highlighting the band’s creative reach and influence.
